"I know I'm horrible at updating this page but between the day job, the shop, anything on the rocks, and the rest of life, most of my pieces are sold before I can post them. I'll try and do better, feel free to chew on my ear about it." - Knox
I’ve always had a desire to create things but no medium has come as naturally to me as steel. I have learned that this is my zen, that I am an inspired maker not a mass manufacturing maker. I would rather build the skill of the free hand grind as taught to me by Gil Hibben as opposed to using jigs and fixtures. Yes, that makes things considerably more difficult but if it were easy I wouldn’t be interested in it.
I obsess and overthink every custom piece I make until it reflects the highest level of my abilities, then, and only then, do I feel that it is a "Knox Knife".
