Have you ever dreamt of a knife you would like to see become a reality? Collaborating tends to bring out the best ideas of everyone involved and is creatively exciting, thats why I dig it.
In 2015 I was sent the design concept in the first picture below.
The title is still up for debate but we argue between Brimstone, SchidlFlicker and ObNOXious Flame.
After months of sketching, materials gathering and execution the piece was revealed:
15 inches overall length of 1/4 inch thick 440c stainless steel
Textured and antiqued flats
9 inch mirror polished blades
Dual 3/16 inch thick ‘D’ guards, textured and antiqued with mirror polished edges
Full tang is bordered with file work
Finished off with cypress and red acrylic scales from Ankrom Exotics
